Montana Dreams specializes in representing indigenous artists who incorporate the spiritual symbols of their culture into their work.
The collection currently consists of handmade Sterling silver jewelry work from the renowned craftsman centers in Taxco, Mexico and Cusco, Peru. The symbolic jewelry work from Taxco includes a number of the key spiritual symbols of the Aztec and Maya cultures, including The Sun and the super-deity Quetzalcoatl. The Peruvian jewelry features the Chakana as well as other Inca spiritual symbols. Many of the pieces are handmade in sterling silver exclusively for Montana Dreams.
While we continue to develop the collection, we have initially focused on sterling silver jewelry. We feel that sterling silver jewelry is an excellent medium for the artist to make a cultural expression, while allowing the consumer to wear and identify with the spiritual symbol, and enjoy a connection to the native artist and their sacred homeland.
